CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Propane supplies are better this year compared to the same time one year ago according to Dakota Plains Cooperative General Manager Ken Astrup. But Astrup reminds people to fill their tank now while prices are reasonable.

Astrup says the additional storage of propane this year should help the situation this fall or until demand for the product increases again later this year.

One year ago short propane supplies hampered the efforts of farmers who were use the product to dry their commodities.
