N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Hi-Liners cross country team had a strong showing on Saturday afternoon at the Griggs County Central Meet held at the Cooperstown Golf Course.
The boys team was led by Casey Engelhard who celebrated his 18th birthday with a 3rd place finish out of 81 runners. He worked his way through the field from 10th midway through the race. Nathan Johnson finished 32ned and Mikey Meester would end the race in 47th giving the Hi-Liners boys team a 11th place finish.
The girls varsity team took fourth place in the meet. Mikaylah Ross led the way for the Hi-Liners with a time of 16:46 to finish in 10th. Barbara Zubrod ended the race in 20th.
In the Junior Varsity races, the Hi-Liners boys grabbed a 3rd place finish. The girl’s team took first out of 14 teams
