(NewsDakota.com) The slow-moving heavy rounds of rain that moved through the area over the weekend left their mark in western Dickey County.
Dickey County Emergency Manager Charlie Russell says 4.8 inches of rain fell in Forbes, 3.7 inches in the Guelph and Ellendale areas and 2.8 inches around Monango. Those totals have put some roads in rough shape.
Anyone traveling in the western part of the county needs to be aware of cut roads, gravel washes, moving and standing water over the roads until the water works its way through the system.
Please report any damage you find to your Township board or the Dickey County Office of Emergency Management at 701-320-6299.
