N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Water outages have been reported in Southwest Jamestown due to a water main break in the Louis L’Amour School area.

Residents in the area have said they’ve been experiencing water problems since Monday of this week. This morning, a section of roadway near 8th Avenue and 17th Street Southwest has collapsed near the First Assembly of God Church. The City of Jamestown has closed the street for utility repairs and they will continue until it is complete.

The roadway has been coned and motorists are urged to follow the detour signage.
