CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) About 150 riders participated in the annual Debbie Gable Memorial Ride in July according to event coordinator Rocky Gable.
Congratulations to rider Neil Halland of Buffalo and his co-pilot Tracy Bloomquist of Tower City for winning the $500 cash prize.
Wayne Eggert of Valley City won the rifle. Corey Jorissen of Harwood won the grill, Matt Powell of Hope won the patio heater, Sue Kapaun of Valley City won the meat bundle and Ron Nickelson of Valley City on the binoculars.
A special thanks you from the Thundering Saints and all those involved in the planning of the annual Debbie Gable Memorial Cancer Ride. Thank you to all who contributed and participated. A number of local businesses and individuals made donations.
Throughout the day funds were generated from riders, t-shirt sales, raffle/silent and live auction and free will donations.
Funds raised from the event benefit programs associated with Hospice of the Red River Valley and local cancer victims. Gable says to all those involved, please know your contribution is greatly appreciated.
