N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Music has been a part of her family ever since she could remember.
Kristi Goldade grew up about nineteen miles from any small town in Southern North Dakota, but claims Wishek as her home town. Starting at a young age, Goldade found a fascination with yodeling when her family took her to the Medora Musical.
Beginning at the age of 8, Kristi began doing gigs all over the Midwest. She began writing songs at 13 years old. When she turned 18 and after being informed of a college that provides a study of country music, she decided that it’s what she wanted to do. Kristi is entering her third year at East Tennessee State in Nashville and will be continuing her studies in Blue Grass and Old Time music. When she’s done, she hopes to continue writing music and performing.
Kristi Goldade will be performing in Jamestown, North Dakota on August 14th at 7:00 PM at the Frontier Village Amphitheatre. The event will be free and open to the public. You can follow Kristi on her journey on Facebook by clicking here.
