N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Clear skies tonight and most of this week are expected to be peak for meteor shower viewing.
The Bismarck National Weather Service announced that although there will be a full moon, meteor showers will still be in view during the clear nights. The constellation Perseids is known to produce a fire ball appearance during the activity. The best viewing opportunity will be during the pre-dawn hours.
The service also stated that the meteors are expected to break across the entire sky, coming from above the Perseus constellation. For optimal viewing, try to watch with your back to the moon.
