N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Corn growers interested in learning about using Unmanned Aerial Systems in a corn production system will want to attend the Fingal corn plot tour scheduled to begin at 8 am on Thursday, August 14th.
NDSU Extension Ag Machine Specialist, John Nowatzki, will demonstrate uses of UAS that are being applied to corn production. Area staff from the Carrington Research Extension Center will also discuss accumulated corn growing degree days and corn research.
A free breakfast will be served following the tour. The plot is located 11 miles south of the Peak exit (296) or 6 miles west of the Fingal turn off Highway 32. Meal sponsor is Quality Bank of Fingal. For more information contact the Barnes County Extension office at 701-845-8528.
