CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The American Legion Class A State Tournament will get underway on Wednesday, July 30 at John Randall Field in Chahinkapa Park in Wahpeton.

The eight team tournament will feature the top four teams from the West Region (Beulah, Watford City, Makoti and Velva) and the East Region (Valley City, Casselton, Grafton, and Wahpeton).

The double elimination format will begin Wednesday morning, July 30, at 11:00am when Valley City meets up with Beulah, and will conclude with the championship series on Sunday, August 3 at 1:00pm.

All of the Valley City Post 60 games can be heard on 1490 KOVC.
