N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley City Post 60 warped up their regular season on Monday night in Harvey where the game was cut short in the fourth inning to to the stormy weather.

Harvey oped the scoring in the first with a quick run, before Post 60 answered in the top of the fourth with an RBI single from Austin Berg. Before the storm let lose in the bottom of the frame Harvey would post two more runs, putting the home team ahead 3-1 at the stoppage in play.

With no days left to make up the game, a quarter flip decided the winner of the game. Lady Luck favored Valley City on the night as the quarter fell their way.

The nights outcome means that Post 60 will enter the East Regional Tournament in Grafton later this week as the three seed.  Valley City ends the season with a 3-13 record.
