N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Northern Plains Electric Cooperative has teamed up with other Cooperatives from around the country for Operation Round Up, a program that distributes grants to organizations and individuals.

Members under each cooperative can voluntarily round up their electric bill to the next dollar up. The donation averages just around $0.50 per person and totals around $37,000 for the entire year. A board will then meet quarterly to appropriate the funds.
