N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown’s local United Way continues to raise funds and fulfill their mission. “To improve lives by mobilizing caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good.”
United Way of Jamestown continues to strive for this and to do so, they need to raise funds. Dana Wallace with United Way stated that United Way continues to grow and all proceeds that they raise stay local.
“Part of our mission statement is that 99 percent of all dollars raised locally stay local. We’re just keeping the name out there and helping with what we can.” Wallace stated.
On July 3rd, United Way of Jamestown will be selling bratwursts and hot dogs with pop for three dollars. They will be located in the Coborns parking lot from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
