N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 4th of July Celebration in Gackle will be to help celebrate the 125th Birthday of North Dakota early.

A free picnic will be held at the A.F. Lehr Park beginning at 6:00 PM with hot dogs and brats as well as ice cream and birthday cookies. Musical entertainment will be provided by Raw Sugar beginning at 6:00 PM as well. When the sun finally sets, a giant firework display will take place at the Al Bye Memorial Field.

Other events throughout the day include kids craft time, BBQ Lunch at the American Legion Hall and a Kids Parade followed by a Patriotic Parade.
