N.D. (AP) – Law enforcement authorities in North Dakota say they have arrested a man accused of impersonating a sheriff’s deputy to force his way into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment.

KFGO Radio reports 29-year-old Timothy Lang is in custody on initial charges of terrorizing, criminal mischief and impersonating a law enforcement officer. The station reports Lang tried to enter the apartment, but his ex-girlfriend managed to close the door.

The Page man was arrested after a Cass County deputy saw him leaving the apartment complex. It was not immediately clear whether Lang has legal representation.
