(NewsDakota.com) A pair of three run home runs were the difference in LaMoure Post 19’s 10-5 victory against Oakes Post 36 at Cummings Field on Monday night.
LaMoure (7-1 Southeast Region) had a three run homer from Quinn Alo in the second inning, and another three run blast from Anthony Olson in the sixth. Post 36 (4-4) scored all five of their runs in the second inning, but only picked up three hits in the rest of the contest against Parker Stemen. LaMoure has won both games against Oakes this season.
Stemen earned the win, going all seven innings, allowing seven hits and striking out five. Bryce Meehl took the loss for Oakes, lasting just four innings and surrendering seven runs on nine hits. Offensively for Oakes, Cole Ehrlin registered a two RBI double.
