N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The National Weather Service of Bismarck has released their damage findings near Ashley, North Dakota.

Damage was attributed to straight line winds that were estimated to range from 80 miles per hour to 90 miles per hour North of Ashley. Several cattle barns and ranch buildings had their roofs torn off. Several cottonwood trees were also snapped due to the high winds. Winds breaks were damaged and shingles were torn off of one house and a trailer was also tipped over. The McIntosh County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Storm Survey Team.

The findings of the survey are preliminary and could changed pending final review.
