N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame will  hold their inductions on Saturday at the Jamestown Civic Center.

Glenn Hansen, Jim LeClair, and Mike Podolak will receive the Cliff Cushman Award when they are inducted at the banquet on June 21st, 2014 in Jamestown at the Jamestown Civic Center. Cliff was a Grand Forks native and 1960 Olympian. He lost his life in the Vietnam War.

Glenn Hansen was born in Devils Lake and played basketball for Louisiana State University and Utah State University. Selected in the second round of the 1975 NBA draft by the Kansas City Kings, he averaged 6.5 points per game and 2.8 rebounds per game as a rookie. In addition, he played briefly with the Chicago Bulls.

Jim LeClair played football for the University of Minnesota, Crookston and UND. He was drafted in the third round of the 1972 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals where he played in Super Bowl XVI and was named to the NFL Pro Bowl in 1976.

Michael Podolak was a member of three ND State Team Golf Championships and the 1985 US Walker Cup Team. He was a US Mid-Amateur Champion and played in the 1986 Masters Tournament where he was a runner-up and was Amateur Champion in the Trans Mississippi Amateur Tournament.

The induction, banquet, auction, and awards program will be held at the Jamestown Civic Center on Saturday, June 21st at 5:00 PM. Tickets are $30.00 each.
