N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It’s been a widely debated topic of discussion for many in Jamestown on whether to bring in Menards or not to the community.
Jamestown Mayor Katie Andersen confirmed that Menards in Jamestown is pretty much a done deal. Mayor Andersen stated that construction is expected to begin this summer once companies are contacted to begin removing trees in the area. This will be the first large scale project that the city has seen in a long time.
Menards agreed to come to Jamestown after a study showed that Jamestown was loosing more than $50 million annually in home improvement sales to other communities.
