N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The National Weather Service in Bismarck has announced that heavy rainfall is expected for most of North Dakota today.
According to the report, a wet and unstable weather pattern is bringing a round of thunderstorms today through tonight in West and Central North Dakota. Heavy rains are expected with a threat of severe weather. Because the pattern is unstable, the storms could possibly produce large hail, damaging winds and even a few tornadoes in certain areas.
One to two inches of rain are possible from Minot to Bismarck and Jamestown. The heaviest amounts are expected around Central North Dakota.
