N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The National Weather Service in Bismarck has announced favorable conditions are developing for possible flash flooding.

Several counties including McHenry, LaMoure, Foster, Dickey, Kidder, McLean and Stutsman will be in a watch until early Thursday morning. Thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall are expected to cover most of Western North Dakota today and spread East through the night. A Flash Flood Watch means conditions may develop that could lead to flash flooding.

Monitor forecasts and be prepared to move to higher ground should a warning be issued.
