(NewsDakota.com) Thirteen hits, which included two home runs, powered the Enderlin Post 221 American Legion baseball team to 10-4 victory at Hendrickson Field in Enderlin on Wednesday night.

The win by the Railcats gave Post 19 their first loss in the Southeast Region this season. In addition to the two home runs, a two-run shot by Daniel Lindgren in the sixth and a solo blast by Wyatt Aberle in the seventh, Post 221 had a total of four doubles off of LaMoure’s Parker Stemen.

Post 19, who had been playing solid defense thus far in the season, had an off-night; committed five errors in the contest, one in each of the firs three innings. Anthony Olson had a double and a single for Post 19 (4-1 Southeast Region), and Brady Warcken scored two of the four runs. 

Stemen took the loss going six innings allowing 13 hits and striking out three. Aberle was the winning pitcher for Enderlin with two hits, one run in three innings of work.
