CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) After a false start and major disappointment, Alan Komrosky’s Triceratops “Bob” will soon be on display inside the Barnes County Museum in downtown Valley City.

Museum curator Wes Anderson says Komrosky and his crew have pulled a rabbit out of their hat to make it possible for “Bob” the Triceratops to displayed on the main floor of the Barnes County Museum.  He says the massive skull that came to the museum on Memorial Day.  The rest of “Bob” is still in process of assembly as Alan dismantles “Bob” from inside his workshop.

Anderson says once assembled it will be on display at the museum for an undetermined length of time while Alan seeks a buyer and permanent home for “Bob.”

The dismantling process involves painting the metal skeleton that clutches the heavy fossil pieces of “Bob” like jewelry, but we are confident “Bob” will be completed by Thursday, June 12 just in time for Valley City’s “Rally in the Valley.”
