CITY (NewsDakota.com) After one of the strongest seasons in Valley City State Baseball history, Brady Anderson has now been named an Honorable Mention to the NAIA All-American team.

As an infield utility player, the Vikings sophomore spent numerous games at second base and behind home plate for VCSU. While his defense was strong, Anderson made the most noise with his bat. He finished the season sixth in the nation with a .443 bating average.  He also had 38 RBIs and a slugging percentage of .678.

The Jamestown Native finished in the country’s top 20 in a handful of statistical categories including, batting average, Third in hits per game (1.65), fifth in total bases per game (2.525), fifth in triples a game, sixth in total triples (11) and 18th in slugging percentage.

His accolades this season include, two North Star Athletic Association Player of the Week awards, National Player of the Week, and NSAA player of the year.
