CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The mayoral candidates for Valley City gave their vision of the city during these interviews. The challenger, candidate Jeff Edwards talked about his family, his connection to the city and why the city needs to focus on affordable housing and how that will benefit the city in the future.

Incumbent candidate Bob Werkhoven is seeking his second term as mayor of Valley City. Werkhoven talked about his experience and accomplishments.

The voters will decide on Tuesday, June 10 who will serve as the mayor of Valley City for the next four years as well as two city commission seats. The candidates for city commission are incumbents Dewey Magnuson, Matt Pedersen and Gary Schlagel.
