N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Heavy rain and thunderstorms this weekend in the James River Valley have the potential to create flooding in the area.
Meteorologist Bill Abeling with the National Weather Service in Bismarck stated that showers are lining up from East of Rapid City through the East of Mobridge. The storms continue to line up between Bismarck and Jamestown and up through Jamestown. With the heavy rains and storms, there will be a possibility for flash flooding.
Jamestown is in the area with the highest precipitation potential with a total of three inches expected over the weekend.
