CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Valley City Chamber of Commerce and the Valley City Young Professionals Network will host a Candidates Forum at the Valley City Eagles Club tonight at 7 p.m.

Candidates will provide opening statements and answer questions posed by a moderator, along with questions submitted by the audience.

Candidates expected to appear at the forum include Valley City mayoral candidates Bob Werkhoven and Jeff Edwards.

City commissioner candidates Gary Schlagel, Dewey Magnuson and Matt Pedersen and Barnes County commissioner candidates Phil Leitner, Mike Metcalf, Bill Carlblom, Ryan Mathias and Shawn Olauson.

The Candidates Forum will be broadcast live on KOVC 1490 AM Radio tonight at 7pm the public is welcome to attend the event inside the Valley City Eagles Club.
