(NewsDakota.com)  Day number two of the WDA Tourney continued on Friday at Astoria Field in Dickinson.  The Blue Jays beat the Coyotes 8-1.  Jamestown improves to 13-14, Williston drops to 7-23 and ends their season.

Joey Gebhardt was the winning pitcher going the complete 7 innings with seven strikeouts and no walks, he improves to 2-3 on the year.  Gebhardt was 1 for 3 at the plate.  Seth Falcon was the losing pitcher going four and a third allowing seven hits and five runs.  Nick Fuchs, Tyler Ukestad and Shawn Hogan (batters 3, 4 and 5 for the Blue Jays) each had a hit and an RBI.

Next up for Jamestown will be Saturday afternoon at 3:30pm (central time) against No. 1 Dickinson in a state qualifying game.  Pregame can be heard on AM 1400 KQDJ and newsdakota.com about 3:20pm.  Jamestown must win to advance to the State Class A Baseball Tourney in Mandan starting next Thursday.
