N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two men are reportedly dead after their canoe capsized on Spiritwood Lake near Jamestown.

Correspondent Randi Ryan reports that three men were out on Spiritwood Lake around midnight on Sunday, May 18th when their canoe capsized. One man tried to grab onto another and pull him to safety, but was not able to make it to shore with him. The man reportedly sank and drowned. The third man has not been found, but is being reported as dead from drowning as well. All three men are not from Jamestown.

Reports state that there may have been drinking involved. The man that made it to shore went out with dive crews to try and differentiate the location of the drowned victims. The incident remains under investigation.
