(NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High baseball team will try to earn their second consecutive trip to the Class A state baseball tournament this weekend in Dickinson. They will play the final game on Day 1 against the No. 3-seeded Bismarck High Demons.

The game will begin at 7:30pm CT at Astoria Field in Dickinson. The Jays punched their ticket to the state tournament last season as the No. 3-seed and beating St. Mary’s in a state qualifier. The Demons beat the Jays in the WDA semis in that tournament.

You can hear the game on 1400/97.1 KQDJ and NewsDakota.com with the pregame show about 10 minutes before first pitch.

Dickinson is the host seed and coincidentally the host. The Midgets open the tournament at 12pm on Thursday against St. Mary’s.
