(NewsDakota.com)  The Region 3 Baseball Tourney will be held at Carrington City Park this year, starting with four games on Monday, May 19th at 10am.  The regular season champs, Midkota/Griggs County Central/Barnes County North Mustangs are undefeated in the region at 10-0 and are the overall number one seed.  Carrington is the number two seed followed by Sheyenne/New Rockford as the three seed.  The entire tournament will be broadcast on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com.  Here’s the first day schedule:

10am – No. 4 Dakota Prairie  vs.  No. 5 Lakota/Edmore

12:30pm – No. 3 Sheyenne/New Rockford  vs.  No. 6 Medina/Pingree-Buchanan

3pm – No. 1 Midkota/GCC/BCN  vs.  (winner of 10am game)

5:30pm – No. 2 Carrington  vs.  (winner of 12:30pm game)
