N.D (NewsDakota.com) The Eastern Dakota Conference Golf season continued on Monday morning at the Fargo Country Club. In gusty winds and rain the Valley City Hi-Liners team finished with a team score of 375, earning seventh place at the invite.

Valley City was led on the score card by Jared Lentz who battled through the troublesome weather to card an 87. Dustin Miller and Collin Hoss earned the second best scores on the team each finishing with a 95 for the day.

West Fargo’s Riely Johnson had an impressive 74 for the top score of the event. The Packers would also win the team competition shooting 320 as a group.

The next EDC meet is Thursday afternoon at the Kings Walk in Grand Forks. The event will also be a state qualifier. Any golfer that scores within seven above par or medals will automatically qualify for the Class A Individual State Golf Tournament on June 3 and 4.
