N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 35 year-old Ravenna, Nebraska man was killed after he rolled his semi onto its roof, pinning him inside.

Sgt. Troy Hischer with the North Dakota Highway Patrol reported that on May 8th at about 7:10 AM, Wade Flies was driving Northbound on Highway 1, approximately nine miles North of Verona, North Dakota. His semi drifted off of the roadway into the East ditch, where it rolled onto the roof and pinned the man inside. Flies was not wearing his seat belt when the accident occurred. He died on the scene due to his injuries.

Oakes/LaMoure Ambulance responded to the scene and Flies was transported to the Oakes Hospital.
