CITY, N.D (NewsDakota.com) Two more Hi-liners signed letters of intent on Thursday afternoon to continue the athletic careers at the college level.Dierra Diegel  will take the basketball court next year with Northern State in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Jessica Denholm will attend Waldorf College in Frost City, Iowa and will join the Volleyball team in the fall.

In her senior season at Valley City, Diegel was the second leading scorer in the Eastern Dakota Conference. She averaged 20 points, five rebounds and two assists a game. Her season accolades include All-EDC, All-State second team, and being named to the 2014 Lions All-Star Team. Next season she will join a Northern State team who won the North Division title in the Northern Sun  Intercollegiate Conference.

On the Volleyball court, Denholm was an All-EDC setter who helped the Hi-Liners to a 20-16 regular season record.  In the fall, she  will join a Warriors team who finished 24-24 in the regular season and earned third place in the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference.
