CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Dolly Parton Imagination Library for children ages 0 to 5 is seeking support from area businesses and the community.
N.D. First Lady Betsy Dalrymple promoted the Imagination Library during the dedication of the Barnes County North School on April 28.
Dalrymple promoted the program last fall in Valley City during a visit to Washington Elementary school.
Sheyenne Valley Chapter spokesman Mike Watterson talked about the program on our Voice of the Valley Show.
Watterson talked about the monetary support needed for the program.
Once the books arrive parents are urged to read them to their preschool children enrolled in the program.

In North Dakota 16 counties, 12 cities and 11 school districts are actively participating and promoting the Imagination Library program.
