N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 6th grade class of Edgeley will be doing a volunteer service project at Churches United for the Homeless on May 8th.
Churches United is a homeless shelter in Moorhead that serves men, women, and families who are in need of food or housing. Lucinda Malm, the Edgeley School Counselor, has asked the volunteer coordinator if there was anything that the class could donate.
“She said they always need peanut butter. We would like to collect as many jars of peanut butter as we can to take with us that day.” Malm stated.
The classroom will be collecting jars of peanut butter. If you would like to donate a jar, you can do so by May 5th. The 6th grade class will then present it to the staff at the homeless shelter on behalf of the Edgeley School.
