N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Country Club has announced the opening of its course for the 2014 Golf season.
General Manager Jack Bietz announced that “The course is open, the bathrooms are fully operation, the phone is back online, and the new carts are running smooth.” With the announcement comes information on several events happening on the course. The Jamestown High School will be holding its annual East-West Classic on April 25th and 26th. The kitchen will also be up and running in the first week in May.
Steven Sedler, the Finance Committee Chair, announced that the long-term debt balance for the club is about $164,121.00. Current projects that the club will be focusing on include a roof project on the clubhouse due to developed leaks and planting of grass near #6 green and #7 tee boxes. They will also install new tee boxes on holes #2, #8, and #9.
