N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A house fire at 915 5th Avenue SE has displaced a family after causing extensive heat and smoke damage.

Jamestown Fire Department Lt. Sheldon Mohr reported that crews were called to the scene at about 4:54 PM. About 33 firefighters were on the scene with 5 units. The fire appeared to have been started in the kitchen. Crews were able to extinguish the fire and left the scene at about 5:45 PM.

There were no injuries reported and the fire remains under investigation.
