(NewsDakota.com) After a long, cold winter, high school baseball season in 2014 will at long last commence for the boys from Oakes and LaMoure/Litchville Marion on Thursday

The Loboes will visit Cummings Field to take on the Tornadoes in their inaugural and home debut. Thursday’s game was originally scheduled for Monday April 14. It will be the first game of the season for the visiting Loboes as well. LLM was scheduled to play Central Cass and Kidder County last week, while Oakes was to face Enderlin/Maple Valley and Northern Cass.

First pitch from Cummings Field is set for 4 p.m. Thursday with coverage starting at 3:45 on KDDR-AM 1220/95.9 FM, Q101.1 FM and NewsDakota.com
