(NewsDakota.com)- Jamestown High is searching for a new boys basketball coach to replace Kelley Kessler, who resigned yesterday after four seasons leading the Jays. Kessler will remain the head baseball coach and continue teaching at the middle school, but will be done with basketball.
JHS athletic director Jim Roaldson said the search for his replacement will begin immediately.
The Jays were 28-59 during Kessler’s four seasons at the helm. They were two-and-out in the last two WDA tournaments.
Jamestown returns a pretty good nucleus for next year and will be fighting to return to state for just the second time in 20 years.
