N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Airport Authority Board has approved the plans to move forward with rebidding their hangar project.

Steve Aldinger, a member of Interstate Engineering, stated that the hangar would now be just 8 bays instead of the proposed 9 bay hangar. Previously, the board had rejected all bids on the project because they were higher than the estimated costs.

Aldinger stated that the new project will have several different options subtracted from the original project, bringing the cost of the project down. The new bid will be held on Friday, May 2nd at 2 P.M. 90% of the funding for the project is being requested from the North Dakota Aeronautics Commission. The estimated completion date will be set for December 1st.
