(NewsDakota.com) The two open seats on the Oakes School Board will be run unopposed in June’s election.

Phil Roney is running for re-election unopposed for the Rural seat, and Cherie Muggli is running for re-election unopposed for the seat representing the area west of North Dakota State Highway 1.

The deadline to submit a name for the June ballot was the end of March, and any challengers to Roney or Muggli will be needed to be write-in candidates.
