N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Kiwanis Club annual food packaging event is right around the corning and is still in dire need of volunteers to help package the meals.
Katie Ryan-Anderson with the Jamestown Kiwanis Club stated that they were looking to have roughly 400 volunteers, making it 200 volunteers for each shift on April 5th at the Buffalo Mall.
The club will package an estimated 100,000 meals over the course of the day. A portion of those meals will stay local through the Great Plains Food bank and the rest of the meals will be sent overseas. Anderson also stated that they will be accepting volunteers for both the morning and afternoon shift on Saturday.
