CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley City public works crews will start removing snow in the southwest corner of the city today according to Public Works Director Jeff Differding. He says crew will work clearing the city counterclockwise from the southwest corner.
City Administrator David Schelkoph says some 8 to 12 inches of snow have been reported in Valley City from various spotters. He says there will be no garbage pick up April 1 and the landfill will also be closed as crews will focus on clearing streets and ally’s today.
Valley City schools superintendent Dean Koppelman encouraged students and staff members to car pool or walk to school today if they could to cut down on traffic congestion to school as crews work to clear snow.
