N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It was no April Fool’s joke.
A late season blizzard dropped a lot of snow over parts of North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. Strong winds at 40 to 50 miles per hour created drifting and poor visibility.
As for snow amounts? Michael Matthews is with the Bismarck National Weather Service.
Some heavier amounts were reported in the Red River Valley and eastward. Peter Rogers is with the National Weather Service in Grand Forks.
Later this week – parts of the state may see a small dusting of light snow – but the National Weather Service says the heavier snow from that system will stay to the south.
