CITY, N.D (NewsDakota.com) for the second week in a row Valley City’s Brady Anderson has been named the Baseball Player-of-the-Week in the North Star Athletic Association.

During last week’s games Anderson was a rock at the plate putting up an impressive .593 batting average and a slugging percentage of 1.148. The Jamestown native crossed home plate 11 times in the Vikings six games and drove in 16 RBI’s.

His most impressive game came over the weekend came when he hit for the cycle and drove in eight runs against Dickinson State, a feat that no doubt helped make the Vikings sophomore the first ever back-to-back winner of the award.

The Vikings earned three wins against the Bluehawks over the weekend losing just one game in the opening of NSAA play. Their two other losses on the week came to Williams College and Luther College at the Tucson Invitational in Arizona.
