N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The North Dakota Public Service Commission will hold a public hearing on April 1st, regarding a proposed transmission line in Dickey County.
About 9-miles of the line would be located in North Dakota. The transmission line would be owned jointly by Otter Tail Power and Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. and would run from the Big Stone South Substation near Big Stone City, South Dakota to the proposed substation near Ellendale, North Dakota.
The public hearing will be held Tuesday, April 1 starting at 9:30am inside the Fireside Restaurant in Ellendale.
The hearings provide an opportunity for members of the public to contribute to the PSC’s official record. Any comments from members of the public must be received at the hearing to be part of the record.
People with concerns, questions or support for the project are encouraged to attend the hearing. Information received after the hearing will not be part of the official record and cannot be used as a basis for the Commission’s decision.
