(NewsDakota.com)- Former DAC MVP and Jimmie quarterback Josh Kittell has been named the new offensive coordinator at the University of Jamestown. Kittell spent the last five seasons at Minot State, including the last three as a full-time assistant and passing game coordinator.

Kittell will join Shawn Frank’s staff and take over for Tim Belmore who left a few weeks ago to be the offensive coordinator at the University of Mary.

In his senior year at Jamestown, Kittell was named the co-MVP of the DAC while leading the Jimmies to an NAIA national tournament appearance. He holds the DAC record for total offense in a season with 3,445, while throwing for 2,838 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Kittell is a native of Garrison, ND.
