N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Charges have been dropped against the University of Jamestown Dean of Students regarding the simple assault charge earlier this month.

Gary Van Zinderen has returned to his position at the University as the Dean of Students as of March 10th. Simple assault charges stemming from an incident in which Van Zinderen allegedly struck his wife have been dismissed.

“We are happy to have Gary back on campus and wish him well as he puts this personal incident behind him,” says Tena Lawrence, VP of Campus Communications.
